CAUSED BY THE DRIPPING OILS

Davide watches in rapture the iridescence on the surface of the road he is walking on, caused by the dripping engine oils. Moving against the traffic, he follows with unmoving eyes the trail left by the same bus he is used to take. He senses the cars coming towards him, as though they were ghosts, and avoids them without raising his eyes. That morning, like a shooting star, the 149 had left a trail of rainbow on the turmac, all the way from Liverpool Street to Shoreditch.
