Louise

Louise, which takes its name from a real person, consists of a group of 24 canvases covered with wallpaper taken from a private home, that of Louise. The wallpaper conserves the imprint of a past life: a wall upon which pictures were hung, as suggested by still evident outlines.
Louise induces a reflection on memory and its transmission, as the document of a past history projected into a different spatial dimension.
